Pull the handle (located in the driver's wheel well of your truck) to raise the ball and push to lower it. When in the up position, the ball is locked in place assuring it can't fall down. The hitch ball fits in a 3" hole in your truck bed and bolts in place using existing frame holes and installs without loosening or removing the bed.
2001 - 2012 Chevy/GMC 2500HD/3500HD, installs without having to fish bolts into the frame.
Ford Super Duty installs without having to lower the exhaust including 2011 & 2012 models. Before purchasing another brand, read their installiation instructions.
